Will we cancel The crusade in Santa Barbara?

Hundreds of demonstrators and paid agitators will swarm in Santa Barbara this Saturday.

And, it’s just 16 days before our tent goes up there. The question is, “Will we cancel the crusade?”

Absolutely not!

But not for the reasons you may think. We are not going there to pick a fight with anyone. We are not making a political statement. We are not a counter-protest.

We are taking a stand.

But it is not a stand against flesh and blood. They may demonstrate hate and violence. But God will demonstrate signs and wonders. They will come there, and fail. But we will come in the Name of the Lord.

The Spirit of God spoke so clearly. ‘Do not cancel this crusade. For it will have more power than any before it.’ Then a question consumed me:

“If you give in now, where will it stop? If you cannot draw the line here, where can you draw it?

The answer to that question has transformed Living Proof Santa Barbara into the most crucial crusade in our history.

Not only are we going to do it—there is no way on earth we won’t do it!

When the Holy Spirit saw my resolve, He gave me three explosive promises about this crusade.

1. Divine protection: The Spirit of God told me that a ring of fire is going be around the Tent.

No disruptions will hinder the meetings. Unusual peace will not only be in the Tent but over the entire city. People who do not even know God will sense an extraordinary calm over Santa Barbara.

2. You will also see that the demonstrations that have been planned for June 14th will come to nothing.

No weapon formed against this crusade will prosper. Every opposing demon will be crushed by the anointing. This will be the safest atmosphere we have ever experienced.

3. Because this is the most threatened crusade, it will also be the most powerful crusade.

When the leaders in Jerusalem commanded Peter not to preach the Gospel he prayed this very focused prayer:

Acts 4:29-30, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Special threats unleash special signs and wonders. Consider the dramatic way that God answered Peter’s prayer in the very next chapter:

“…so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed” (Acts 5:15-16).

The way that Peter prayed for the threat in Jerusalem is the way I am praying for Santa Barbara.

We also have an infallible sign that this crusade is His will.

Now I can tell you an incredible story. It began in a living room in Santa Barbara. A small group of pastors and intercessors had invited me to speak. There was no way I could do that, but I promised to pray.

The Holy Spirit said, “Go.” So I went, not knowing it would change my life.

I spoke to them, still having no clue as to why I was there. We prayed together. Then they asked for a tent crusade. A crusade – here? It was beyond impossible. Why? Lots of reasons.

– Santa Barbara oozes anti-Christian intellectualism and mysticism—it is a bastion of billionaires who chew up faith and spit it out.

– Our schedule was crazy. We had only one tiny opening: July 6th through the 9th.

– The only place in all of Santa Barbara where we could put the Tent was the Earl Warren Showgrounds. In July? Their busiest month? The odds were astronomical.

But to humor them, I sent Frank Saldana to the showgrounds. As expected, the manager said, “We’re all booked up.” Then she said, “Oh wait, July 6th through the 9th is open. Take it or leave it.” So we took it! How could we not?

Think about it! The only days we had open were also the only days they had open! How could it be anything else but God?

Let me conclude this urgent message with a gentle warning. Don’t you dare change your mind about coming to Santa Barbara! You will deeply regret it.

And let me provoke you to exercise your faith. Believe God that distance and cost will not keep you from your miracle under our tent. He will provide!
