More than a Conqueror

I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

I admire those that do not struggle with daily devoting time for prayer and Bible study. The rewards are amazing … fellowship with the Creator, wisdom imparted, prayers heard, prayers answered.  It’s a beautiful act of love, obedience and discipline.

I admire those that do not struggle to find time to exercise, the rewards are wonderful, the benefits are life changing. Another act of obedience and discipline.

I have heard it said that a task done for 30 days will become a new habit, that does not seem to apply to me. There is a battle in my mind,  a battle everyday to skip prayer time and not make time for exercising.  But … I do win, not every day, but more often now than before. Winning a victory with my undisciplined flesh, winning a victory over an enemy that does not want me physically healthy, an enemy that will do anything to block precious communication with the Creator of the Universe.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made,  made to make quality choices, made to resist resistance, made to overcome the flesh, made for victory!

The Apostle Paul understood:

Romans 7:15 … for what I want to do, I do not do …

Romans 8: 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
