Collapsing under the weight of woke, Seattle riots against Christians.

America is dumping wokeness like nuclear waste. DEI is DOA. Pride month will look like an abandoned sideshow. Then there is San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.

Here we have three cities that will not face reality. Instead of learning from their disastrous social experiment—they have doubled down.

As a result, violence, homelessness, addiction and mental illness will continue their reign in these dystopian communities. Only now it will have a new twist.

And make no mistake—that new twist is to attack Christians, and even children. And it was on full display in Seattle this last Saturday.

The Christian Post said this:

“The May 24 rally at Cal Anderson Park, organized by pro-life group Mayday USA for its “DontMessWithOurKids” national tour, drew hundreds of supporters holding signs supporting the sanctity of life, biological gender, the nuclear family and religious freedom.

A short time later, pro-LGBT counter-protesters confronted the group. Waving transgender flags, they reportedly clashed with police in riot gear and threw water bottles and other objects.”

Only it was much worse than that. They pulled a knife on Christians who were giving away clothes, haircuts and other gifts to the poor. Or just worshipping.

Woke is done and they are raging against the inevitable.

Not only that—members of the “queer community” as they like to call themselves—started performing sex acts in front of children.

Why did they take such total leave of their senses? Desperation? Mental illness?  Demonic hatred?

The answer is: all of the above. Woke is done and they are raging against the inevitable.

As a result, they have created a massive backlash. Even atheists and the gay community are coming to the defense of ‘Mayday USA’.

But the real lesson here is that Christians are going to win in court.

Equally important is the fact that the horror of Wokeness was once again on full display. There is nothing noble, decent, or redeemable about it. Maybe we needed to see that one more time.

But the real lesson here is that Christians are going to win in court. We cannot see these cities as off limits to the Gospel. To do that we need to look at the insidious words of the mayor of Seattle:

“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice,” the statement read. “Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”

1. He said welcoming and inclusive, but only to some but not to others. That is discrimination based on religion.
2. He said that the rally subjected the trans neighbors to “bigotry and injustice.” The bigotry and injustice was on the other side when the protestors threatened and attacked a Christian group that had a permit to rally. Leftists always accuse others of what they themselves are doing.
3. He also lied when he accused the Christians of intentionally trying to provoke violence. What? By providing haircuts, food, clothing and singing worship songs?
4. He declared that Seattle is an anti-Christian city. He is saying, Bible beliefs are “inherently opposed to our city’s values.”

I have several final reactions:

-The first is that the Constitution of the United States does not permit Seattle to enforce values that ban Christianity.

-The next reaction is to take a look at what Seattle values have done to Seattle. It has turned entire neighborhoods into ash heaps of despair and addiction.

-A public park cannot ban a peaceful rally. It is against freedom of speech and freedom of religion and the right to assemble.

-A Seattle newsman covering the story said that ‘two genders is an ideology.’ Male and female are not an ideology. Male and female is just simple biology. That the “trans- community” disagrees does not allow them to negate established science or any opposing view.

-It is hypocrisy to say we are invading their territory. ‘Drag queen reading hours’ consistently tried to get into conservative neighborhoods.

If any believer thinks it is wrong to go to these cities they may need to apologize to Philip.

Acts chapter 8:9-12, “But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time. But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.”

A city soaked in sorcery turned to Jesus! Let us pray that the sorcery in Seattle will be overcome by the power of God. As Romans 5:20 says, “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” Selah.
