Bees Can Preach
To help the wild honeybees in my area, I built a watering station. The station has flowering plants and a bird bath filled with pebbles, rocks and sugar water. After a rain, I pour off the excess water, but sometimes a few bees don’t leave in time and they sadly drown at the station.
After a recent shower, one bee appeared to have signs of life … when there is life, there is hope. I put her on an elevated rock to recover. Later I checked on her, she was still alive, clinging to the rock, but her wings were soaked. Don’t laugh, I blew my warm breath on her wings to help dry them. Within a short time, with some sunshine, her wings were outstretched and she flew away. I couldn’t save them all, but helped to save one.
These bees preach to me: Cling to the Rock, never give up, trust the Breath of the Holy Ghost to renew and restore, recover in the Son … storms come, but they don’t last, if there is life, there is always hope! Ecclesiastes 9:4 As long as we are alive, we still have hope …
