Now THIS is interesting! In today’s broadcast we’re going to look at something we rarely talk about. How many of you know that the word of God is the only true guide to the chaos of what is going on? If you want to know where the greatest prophetic lenses are to discern what is going on in the world? It is right there. You do not have to look for the devil if you are anointed by God and sent into new territory. The devil will manifest around you and it is not because you are doing something wrong. You are actually doing something right.

Divine Appointments and How Disagreements Built Unity in Acts When it comes to the book of Acts, you really have to have almost a Pentecostal life experience in order to appreciate the nuances of the supernatural, because we need more of the word and more of the supernatural, for the church to do what it is called to do. Let's take a look at chapter 16, of the book of Acts. Last episode, we talked about why unity is overrated. You have to have unity in a marriage, you have to have unity in the nation, but you can't build unity on unity, you have to build it on agreement, and agreement comes out of a vigorous discussion of the truth.

Today we're dealing with a critical subject, asking how the church stands and influences the runaway train of what's happening in the world right now, and in America specifically? The thing that I always liked about Donald Trump was that he understood he did not know the Bible. The first comment he made in the presence of the people I was with, he said, "I freely admit that while you were seeking a higher call with the Bible, I was seeking how to make money." Unlike Trump, many politicians think they know as much as any preacher. As far as they're concerned, they could mentor you, give you a few insights on God, but they don't know the Bible. Respect plus trust equals commitment. And the disunity that exists in many parts of the body of Christ is because some of you know more about a subject than you're giving credit for. Some of you have dug deeper into a topic than you've been acknowledged for. And it's going to be difficult for unity if people don't respect the depth of what you've got.

In today’s teaching, we are going to be discussing the unity of the body of Christ. Jesus prayed that we would "be one" that the world might know, but unity is only an answer to prayer when it is attached to the right idea. Unity around the wrong idea is a bad idea. Paul had no problem being out of unity with preachers from Jerusalem that were messing up his work. Sometimes you have to have a healthy difference of opinion in order to arrive at the right conclusion. The big issues I hear talked about by many preachers are important issues, but not the primary. When we got hit with 6 degree weather and the electricity and water went out in Texas we all shifted our priorities. People were all shifting where they stayed and we reached out to those in distress. Survival has a clarifying effect on what is important.

This will be one of the strangest Bible studies I’ve ever done. It’s the story of our journey in America 2020-2024. Make sure you have your Bible ready!
